E-Waste

E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their “useful life.” Mobile Phones and their accessories, Telephones, pay phones, cordless phones, Air Conditioners, Televisions, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Computers, VCDs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled.

E-waste has been one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world. While e-waste contains valuable materials such as aluminum, copper, gold, palladium, and silver, it also contains harmful substances like cadmium, lead, and mercury. In the absence of proper awareness, disposing of e-waste in the landfill can result in toxic emissions to the air, water, and soil and pose serious health and environmental hazards.

We, Onetouch  being a responsible producer, as per E-waste (Management) Rules 2016 & 2022 hereby pleased to submit our details General collection scheme under our EPR Plan.  We have 28  collection centers & offices  within 28 states in Pan India.  We,  has entered into Agreement with an authorized PRO/Recycler  H.M.E-Waste Management (Authorized Recycler also) to collect End of life products from end users. Our designated Service centers/ collection centers have been set up across pan India so that E-waste can be collected from any end consumers.

. If any customer wants  to handover the material from their door  steps we do send  either  our logistics team to collect the items and channelize the same to our  e-waste partner plant for final processing. Also we will run the online programs Cash from Trash & Take one Green plant from your E-scrap. In lieu of these initiatives we will collection e-waste material from end users, bulk consumers & societies also. We will spread these scheme & information on YouTube, New paper and other online sites.

We have a mechanism of incentivizing customer who wants to return their end of life product at our collection center/point.

We have partnered with M/s H.M. E-waste Management have and  Gati Kintetsu Express Pvt Ltd is their authorized reverse logistic partner for packing, collection & channelizing the e-waste from any part of country in environment friendly sound manner.

PROPOSED AWARENESS PROGRAMME

1. We have partnered with   H.M.E-Waste Managment registered with CPCB for management and channelizing of all our e-waste.

2. We furnish all the details related to disposal of e-waste/toll free number/collection points details on our website to educate customer about e-waste and how to Hard over the same to us once they reach end of life.

3. We shall encourage our end user to deposit any of their old phones in our e-waste bin setup in our branches/service centres.

4. We have collection points meant for collection of material from end user and channelizing the same to our e-waste management partner.

5. We shall print E-waste related information on job sheet which are being delivered to customer who comes at service Centre for product repair.
