At Discreet Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we are committed to providing high-quality products under the brand Onetouch. Our product range, including video door phone systems and digital door lock systems, is backed by a comprehensive warranty to ensure customer satisfaction and peace of mind.
1. Warranty Coverage
We offer a standard 1- 2year warranty from the date of purchase on all Onetouch products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions in the product under normal use, as outlined in the product documentation.
2. What is Covered?
- Manufacturing Defects: Any defects in materials or workmanship in the product.
- Product Malfunction: Failure of the product to perform as designed under normal use and maintenance.
- Component Failures: Defective electronic or mechanical parts in the system.
3. What is Not Covered?
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Including but not limited to cosmetic damages such as scratches or dents.
- Misuse or Damage: Any damage caused by improper use, accidents, alterations, or unauthorized repairs.
- Environmental Factors: Damage due to exposure to extreme conditions like water, humidity, or heat.
- Improper Installation: Issues arising from incorrect installation or use not in accordance with the product manual (If installation not done by our authorized dealer)
- Third-Party Damage: Damage caused by third-party products or accessories.
4. Warranty Claims Process
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at warranty@onetouchsmarthome.com with your purchase details (invoice, date of purchase, and product details).
- Provide a video and photo of the product defect along with a description of the issue.
- Our team will verify the claim and, upon approval, we will offer repair or replacement options based on the nature of the defect.
5. Repair or Replacement
If the defect is covered by our warranty:
- We will repair the product or replace it with the same or an equivalent model.
- In cases where the product is no longer available, we will offer a product of similar specifications or provide a store credit.
- Shipping charges for replacements are borne by the customer, except in cases where the product is deemed defective upon delivery. (Kindly note - the product unboxing or seal opening to be done in presence of our authorized service partner who will come for installation)
6. Limitations
- The warranty applies only to the original purchaser (proof of invoice required) and is non-transferable.
- This warranty is valid only for products purchased from our official website
- We reserve the right to reject claims that do not meet the warranty terms or are found to be fraudulent.
